Chemometric Brain is shaping the future of digital quality in the food industry. Our subscription combines hardware, software, and predictive models to deliver real-time chemical analysis that food manufacturers rely on for faster, smarter production and quality-control decisions. Backed by some of the largest food companies in Spain as customers and rapid market adoption, we’re now scaling our sales engine.
Why This Role Matters
You’ll join as one of the first dedicated sales hires, owning the entire sales cycle—from targeted outbound prospecting through signed contract and hand-off to Customer Success. Your work will directly accelerate revenue growth, open new market segments, and influence how we position and price an industry-changing product.
What You’ll Do
- Prospect & qualify – build and manage a high-value pipeline with a heavy outbound focus (phone, email, LinkedIn, events).
- Consult & educate – run discovery, navigate technical objections, and tailor demos that speak to each segment’s unique pain points.
- Close & expand – negotiate contracts (subscription, hardware + software, or software-only), forecast accurately, and hit/exceed quota.
- Collaborate cross-functionally – feed real-world customer insights back to Product, Marketing, and Data Science.
- Travel when it counts – visit plants and labs to build trust, validate ROI, and seal the deal (≈20 % travel, EU focus).
What Makes You a Fit
- 18 + months of B2B sales experience (startup or scale-up preferred) with demonstrable success in closing new business.
- Technical curiosity – you enjoy learning the “how” behind a product and technology, translating complexity into clear business value.
- Consultative mindset – active listener who uncovers root problems and positions solutions, not features.
- Outbound hunter – disciplined in prospecting, creative in opening doors, relentless in follow-up.
- Trust-builder – credible, empathetic, and able to connect with plant managers, QC directors, and C-suite alike.
- Bonus points for: degree in a scientific / engineering field, experience selling to food, pharma, or industrial manufacturers, fluency in Spanish + English (other EU languages welcome).
